Mini-Quiz: Communist Symbols on U.S. Coins

by Ron Kurtus (revised 22 October 2008)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why were people suspicious of Roosevelt's relationship with Stalin?

Both were known Communists

Roosevelt seemed overly accommodating to the dictator

They looked like they could be related

2. Why would a hammer and sickle end up on the Kennedy coin?

Because the Communists assassinated Kennedy

Kennedy was educated in Moscow

It wasn't the hammer and sickle symbol

3. What is a good lesson from this event?

Don't jump to conclusions on illogical rumors

You can't trust the liberals

Right-wing advocates are all crazy

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in History. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
