Mini-Quiz: A Poor Winner Has Poor Character

by Ron Kurtus (15 December 2002)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why shouldn't you tell a loser he is no good, if it is true?

You should always tell the truth, even if not asked to do so

Negative comments like that show you have no class

You should tell him, so he will give up on the sport

2. Why don't others want to play with a poor winner?

Because ridiculing others is uncalled for

Because they know he is better than them

They do want to play with him to get a chance to get even

3. Why should you complement the person who loses?

So he will wonder who really won the game

Complement him on what a loser he is

Let him leave with some dignity

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Understanding Character. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
